| The Thai Government has been killing the drug users in Thailand under their "War on Drugs" policy's banner. In the previous Thanksin Sinawatra's Govt. more than 2500 drug users perished during various encounters with supposedly with the drug traffickers. Now Sinawatra's party back into power they have started to revive their "War on drugs policy" the below letter is a press release by the members of INPUD AP and through their organizations in Thailand. As a call for action, we would like to request all the INPUD members to write a mail to their respective Thai embassies demanding the "End to War on Drugs" and "with recommendations to rights based/ evidence based approach towards the drug use in Thailand". |
