Stijn Goossens talks to the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations

Civil Society Task Force member Stijn Goossens talks to the President of the General Assembly (PGA) of the United Nations.
The UN needs to speak with one voice, also when it concerns people who use drugs. What is been said about drugs, people who use drugs, often conflicts with what is been decided about the fight against AIDS. The messages often are contradictory.
Stijn asks the PGA to make sure to connect the the High-Level meeting on AIDS to the UNGASS on Drugs in the PGA report.

Send drug users back on the street with no help
Emergency room specialist Dr. Luc Beaucourt explains what he does if a drug user in crisis enters the hospitals emergency room in the weekend:
"If he refuses detox, and most of the times this is the case,
then we send him back on the street without help"
